She Forks PHX Event // 90's Party at Joe's Midnight Run
On January 24th, She Forks PHX hosted a 90's party at Joe's Midnight Run. The night was complete with Fresh Prince goodie bags filled with snap bracelets, choker necklaces, warheads, and Airheads, and a Straight Outta Kitchen Menu items like Phat Desserts. Centerpieces included 90's memorabilia including VHS tapes such as "10 Things I Hate About You" and classic Britney Spears and NSYNC cd's. Bob Mayo, owner of Joe's Midnight Run spoke about the origins of Joe's, back when it was a drive thru liquor store. Everyone was enthralled when he spoke about how Joe's has no stoves and no ovens - everything is cooked in a wood fired grill - how amazing! Taryn Jeffries, recipient of Food Writer of the Year by the Arizona Culinary Hall of Fame spoke about evoking emotions in your food writing and how your own experience is what sets you apart. And of course, the food of the night was impeccable. The huge Notorious B.I.G. sliders (mini compared to the regular size!) stole the show, as well as the Phat Desserts. What a blast to the past, celebrating the 90's!

There’s so many Phoenix skin care services and business, that it’s hard to choose and trust a Phoenix skin care provider. However, I was lucky enough to find one! Last week, I sat down with local business owner, Amanda Penn, to learn more about her and her skin care business, Beauty Addict Studio. Unlike some aestheticians, Amanda actually cares about you and your skin, and customizes her services to serve your skin’s needs.
