Mermaid Halloween x 3wishes

Halloween is one of my favorite times of the year. I usually make my costumes, but this year I couldn't resist partnering up with 3wishes to make a long-time Halloween costume dream a reality. What was this Halloween costume dream? To be a mermaid! 

Below are my top five reasons I've wanted to be a Mermaid for so long!

1. My name is Mer, and the pun in Mermaid just cannot go unnoticed!

2. My horoscope sign is a Pisces, so I love the water. I grew up 20 minutes from the Jersey shore and even lived next to the water in Newport Beach. A mermaid costume is befitting!

3. Being a mermaid is sexy! I usually keep my costumes PG, but this year I definitely went for a little PG-13! I love 3wishes' version of a mermaid Halloween costume because it flatters my curves in all the right places! I could’ve even chosen a lingerie piece, but this strikes the perfect balance.

4. Mermaids have a place in fairytales and myths. The mermaid Halloween costume is iconic, whether they're mystical sirens or flirtatious beach babes, I enjoy all the stories that go along with mermaid lore. 

5. Finally, the mermaid Halloween costume is colorful and fun! I went with blue sparkly eyeshadow for my make up, but I was debating between pink or green eyeshadow as well. The versatility in possibility are endless!
