Review // Elements at Sanctuary on Camelback

Elements at Sanctuary on Camelback is a place where food is art. Not only is each dish decadent and a joy to look at, but each has its own unique flavors that awakes the palette and has you craving for more.

We started with light bites. The Ahi Tuna Crudo simply melted in our mouths, and the added chip gave both a satisfying ‘crunch’ and added texture. The Pan Roasted Mussels were fresh and tender, and the broth was beautifully thick and flavorful.

The entrees did not disappoint, and in fact, exceeded all expectations. The Volcano Lamb Shank was massive! But each slice was delicate and soft, and perfectly marinated in a Moroccan au jus. Black Truffle & Lobster Risotto was a mixture of plump lobsters and creamy deliciousness, especially with the chanterelle mushrooms.

Finally, the desserts came and were absolutely inspirational. The Butterscotch Budino reminded me of breakfast and childhood, with the brown butter graham. The PB Bomb was an innovative take on household staples, combining peanut butter and cracker jacks in a dessert that hit it out of the ballpark.

Simply put, Elements at Sanctuary on Camelback is well worth the visit.
