It’s summertime! Chef Russell teamed up with Gruet Wines to bring a flavorful summer themed menu to each patron Monday night. We started with a Green Gazpacho. It was my first time tasting Gazpacho and I loved it! It held refreshing flavors including lemon cucumber, mint, and peas and woke up my palette 0t. It was paired with a sparkling rose that tasted so good that we unsurprisingly found out later it could be considered a vintage wine.

Next up, we tried the Squid Ink Avocado Toast. The bread was the softest, melt in your mouth bread, and paired with the dungeness crab and avocado, left little to be desired. We sipped it with a light white Chardonnay.

The main course was the pan roasted halibut and fingerling potatoes. The halibut was cooked perfectly, seasoned well with good flakes. Both the radishes and potatoes complimented the dish, as well as the Pinot Noir.

Finally was the strawberry sorbet with the roasted white chocolate cheesecake. Nothing screams summer more than a pink sorbet, and mixed with the creamy white chocolate cheesecake, and paired with the Demi Sec, was the perfect way to end the night.
