Phoenix Staycations // Mountain Shadows 2021

Mountain Shadows is always a “vibe”. The resort possesses the type of vibe that allows you to let your imagination go in a desert landscape overlooking Camelback Mountain. You no longer feel connected to the urbanity of Phoenix and Scottsdale, but instead feel the peaceful escape of Paradise Valley.

I love returning to Mountain Shadows, again and again. It’s always a new experience, no matter how many times I come back. For this staycation, I felt playful. I experimented with different cocktail recipes with the cocktail mixer in my room, and enjoyed a martini on the patio.

I wanted to share my experience with my girlfriends, and invited them over for dinner at Hearth ‘61. We had the corner round table in the restaurant, and the seclusion made us feel a part from everyone else as we enjoyed delicious dishes. Hearth ‘61 did not disappoint for brunch as well! We had Banana Ricotta Pancakes and Classic Eggs Benedict dishes.

Finally, I had a relaxing time escaping by the pool. I enjoyed the sunshine rays with my girl friend, and you can see more of the immaculate pool views from my last stay at Mountain Shadows.
